How to Develop Your Faith

A check for $200 came in the mail for me at the EXACT moment I needed it the most. I was really having a bad streak of luck. For some reason, money was staying away from me in droves. But I am a true believe in God and have learned to develop my faith. And that is what this web site is all about—LEARNING HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR FAITH.

What I’ve learned is that once you truly develop your faith, we can go to this mountain and tell it to go and throw itself into the sea, and it will. You can have whatever you ask for once you learn how to develop your faith. Yeah, I know you’ve read that in the bible yourself. Doesn’t seem to work for you, does it? You’ve been praying for that mountain to move itself out of your life for years, but nothing seems to happen for you. Praying for your abundance. Praying for that son or daughter who is not living right. Praying for Mr. or Ms. Right. Praying for your marriage. Praying for the perfect job. Praying for that raise. I know. Been there. Done that. Thought I had faith too, but I learned that the faith I had wasn’t really faith after all. There’s a science to developing your faith. There is the TRUE kind of faith that we need to develop in order to receive the things that we desire. Guess what? I’ve learned how. I’ve learned how to develop that TRUE kind of faith. The kind that moves mountains in your life and I want to teach you how to do the same.

Well, back to the check. As I stated earlier, money was not finding its way into my life. The electricity was scheduled to go off in two days. I was $150 short on what they were asking me to pay in order to keep the lights on. In the apartment where I was living, it was winter and my heat is also run by my electricity. So, if the electricity goes off, so does the heat. This is not a good thing in the dead of winter and taking into consideration that I have two small children—no, not a good thing at all.

Oh, wait, I must tell you this about myself. I believe in the bible. I believe Jesus when he said God is our provider. I didn’t always believe it. Well, I did always believe in the bible because I was taught to do so. But I didn’t really have faith before. I thought I did because I had faith and believe there was a God. But that’s not the kind of faith that moves mountains. So, since I have developed my faith, I knew what to ask for. I said, well, Lord, if you are my provider I need you to provide for me right now. I’m asking for $150 to keep my electricity on and I have faith that it will happen.

The next day, without even really thinking about it again, I come home from work and in the mailbox is what looks like a delayed Christmas card from a former co-worker. I open what I think is a Christmas card, and it’s a check for $200. Let me first tell you this, I have not spoken to this co-worker in almost two months when she left the company to go work somewhere else. And, although we were very close at work, we never socialized after work. We didn’t run in the same circles. Yet, for some reason, something led her to write me a check for $200.

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

I’m not a person who believes in coincidences. I believe that everything is a part of God’s divine plan and nothing happens coincidentally. I was asking for $150 and God placed it in her heart to send me $200—enough to cover what I lacked in the bill and $50 additional dollars to help pay for something else.

These types of things happen to me all the time now. It wasn’t always like that. But it became the norm for me when I started learning about how to develop my faith. And then, practicing and practicing the development of my faith until I get to the point where, as Jesus says, if you believe, you will receive, whatever you ask for in prayer.
